Mulan Initiative was founded by China Entrepreneur Magazine of The Economic Daily in 2009. It is a platform of innovation and sharing among women leaders in business. It aims to promote women's business spirit and show their strength in business.
Over the course of 12 years，adhering to the vision of ‘Women make business better’, Mulan Initiative has become China’s most influential aggregation platform for women business leaders, with nearly 1,000 members, from 29 provinces and cities nationwide, including 112 core members whose enterprise value are over 2 billion.
Mulan Committee is the collective leadership organization of Mulan Initiative.It is committed to discovering and gathering female power to change the future and create beauty. It gathers Chinese female business leaders through recommendation and targeted invitation system, and organizes regular learning and exchange activities.
Up to now, the Committee has gathered nearly a hundred members with a total enterprise value over One trillion (RMB). Nearly 30 Mulan members have repeatedly listed on Asia’s 50 Power Businesswomen by Forbes, The 25 Most Influential Women in Business by Fortune, and World’s Most Influential Women by Financial Times.
China Business Mulan Annual Meeting and Global Mulan Forum
China Business Mulan Annual Meeting and Global Mulan Forum is the influential annual festivity for Chinese women entrepreneurs. In 2009, China Entrepreneur Magazine took the lead in listing business women, and started the first China Business Mulan Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony in Beijing.With a history of 13 years, it aims to show the positive power of women entrepreneurs to promote business evolution, social progress and female business spirit.
Over the last 13 years, topics and focus of discussion of Mulan Forum has almost led all the topics related to Chinese women entrepreneurs, took the first in proposing “She Power”, “Her economy” and made many forward-looking judgments. More than 400 prominent guests have attended the forum so far, including Dong Mingzhu, Zhou Qiren,Wu Xiaoqiu,Sheng Laiyun,Song Zhiping, Meng Xiaosi, He Qiaonv, Ram Charan, Wang Chaoge, Yu Yu, Liu Qing, Chen Ailian,Xia Hua, Sun Jie,Qiao Jian,Qu Fang,Liu Jingjing, WangJingbo etc.
Mulan Initiative is always committed to delivering business women's wisdom and promoting women's awakening and action. Mulan Initiative has been deeply involved in the study of business women, and has continued to launch annual female entrepreneurship reports, and case studies.
Since China Entrepreneur Magazine of The Economic Daily launched the first annual list of “China's 30 Influential Business Women” in 2009, a total of 200 and more business women were on the list.
2017年4月，木兰汇率先发布中国女性创业者报告；2017年7月，发布“她时代：来自未来的Lady Data”专项报告。2018年4月，推出Women 4.0：重新发现女企业家；2020年，联合乔治城大学妇女、和平与安全研究所共同推出中美科技女性创业研究。
In April 2017, Mulan Initiative released the first women entrepreneurship report in China. In July of the same year, Mulan Initiative issued “She Era: Lady Data from the Future”. In April 2018, “Women 4.0: Rediscover female entrepreneurs” was released. In the year of 2020, Mulan Initiative and Georgetown Institute of Women, Peace and Security jointly launched the China-US Science and Technology Women's Entrepreneurship Research.
Mulan Initiative maintains a long-term and close communication with nearly 10 countries, 20 organizations, 50 leading enterprises and 100 medias to create an influence matrix.
